Pastor Daryl Tompkins Pastor Tompkins comes to the congregation at Zion Lutheran, Chamberlain, after serving the congregations of Mount Olive--Woonsocket, Zion--Wessington Springs and Concordia--Wessington, SD. He is a graduate of Doane College in Crete, NE with a B.A. Music and of Concordia Seminary, St. Louis with a M. Div. Pastor Tompkins is a second career man having spent most of his adult life in direct sales. He was a district representative and district manager for a fraternal insurance company and for the two years preceding his entry into the seminary, he owned Business Solutions, a high tech office equipment and computer consulting business. Pastor Tompkins is blessed with a beautiful wife, Trudi, of 29 years and two sons, Trevor who attends Black Hills State and Eric who attends USD. He and his family love to play golf and pool together, travel and be involved in outdoor activities.

Susan Swanson, Administrative Assistant Susan started as Administrative Assistant in February of 2003.  She is married to John and they have 5 children.  Amy is married to Tim Eckart, they are both teachers and live in Marshall, MN. Elizabeth and Melissa live and work in Sioux Falls SD.  Chad drives truck and works for the family business near Pukwana, SD.  Thomas is a junior at Chamberlain High School.
