2 heads of broccoli, cleaned, cut up flowerets
2 can cheddar cheese soup
1 can of cream of chicken soup
1 can of evaporated milk
1 lb. Velveeta cheese, cut into small pieces
Cook broccoli until tender. Add the milk, soups, and cheese.
Continue to heat until cheese is melted and mixture is thick.
Makes 2 quarts.
Beefy Mushroom Topping
2-3 lb. beef roast
2 small cans of mushrooms
1 can of cream of mushroom soup
Cook the roast until well done. Save the juices from the roast. Cut
the roast into small pieces. Add water or beef broth to the juices to make 4 cups of liquid. Add cornstarch to thicken the liquid.
Mix together the liquid and beef and salt and pepper to taste.
2 lb. hamburger
1 cup diced onions
3/4 cup diced green peppers
1 cup diced celery
4 cups canned (chopped) tomatoes
1 can chili beans
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp garlic powder
2 tsp chili powder
Brown the hamburger, onions, celery, peppers until tender. Add the rest of the ingredients and simmer. Makes 2 quarts.
